ZAGREB, Oct 29 (Hina) - The average net salary per employee in Croatia in September was 2,927 kuna (US$401), which in nominal value was 13.7 percent higher than a year before, and 9.4 percent higher in real value, the Money Transfers
Bureau reported on Friday. In the period between January and September this year, the average net salary per employee was 2,882 kuna (US$395), which was 15.9 percent higher in nominal, and 12 percent higher in real value in relation to the same period in 1998. In this year's first nine months, a total of 24.4 billion kuna (US$3.34 billion) was paid out for net salaries, which was 7.7 percent more than in the same period last year.
