ZAGREB, Oct 19 (Hina) - Croatia's Foreign Minister Mate Granic on Tuesday received a director in the European Commission's Foreign Affairs Department, Fabrizio Barbaso, the Croatian Ministry said in a statement. Granic pointed to the
importance of the resumption of a dialogue which Croatia and the European Union commenced on 22 July and to the importance of the establishment of a Task Force for Croatia in order that negotiations on the Agreement on Stabilisation and Association might begin as soon as possible. Croatia maintains that negotiations should respect political and economic reality and they should be led individually, such as it is the case with Macedonia, Granic said. The minister added that Croatia neither wants nor regards it fair to be linked with the fulfilment of expectations imposed on other countries which are less stable, in political, economic and security terms, than Croatia
