from a mass grave in the Bilje cemetery. The plaque was unveiled by the president of the Baranja Association of Widows of Croat Defenders in the Homeland War, Branka Paksic and the president of the Osijek-Baranja Association of Civilian Victims of the Homeland War, Tomislav Kirin. The plaque is in "honour of the eternal memory on the genocide committed against Croats in Bilje and other parts of Croatia and one should never forget what was done to the Croat people from 1991 until the liberation from the aggressor", said Homeland War Veterans Minister Juraj Njavro.
