Unidentified persons last Saturday damaged wreaths and bouquets in
the shape of the Croatian coat-of-arms on 13 graves belonging to
victims exhumed from a well in the Erdut area and buried on April 9

The Ministry expressed deep sympathy to the families of the victims
from the Erdut cemetery.
The incident proves that there are still people in the Croatian
Danubian area who mind Croatian insignia, however, the desecration
of the graves of people who had been abducted and executed and
thrown into a well, really bears witness as to the brutality of the
act, the Ministry said in a statement.
