BOOK ON TIES BETWEEN CROATS AND HUNGARIANS PROMOTED IN ZAGREB

ZAGREB ZAGREB, Oct 1 (Hina) - A book entitled "A Thousand and A Hundred Year-Long Ties Between Croats and Hungarians" was presented in the Zagreb Museum "Mimara" on Friday evening. This book, the author of which is Djuro Sarosac, the curator of Museum in the Hungarian town of Mohacs, has been published by the "Hrvatska Matica Iseljenika (HMI)" a cultural organisation for the Croatian Diaspora. This book contains material shown at the exhibition with the same title, staged first in Hungary and then in Croatia. That exhibition was organised by the Mohacs Museum which has been collecting the national treasure of Hungarian Croats since 1975. In addition, the book comments on the ties between the two nations, and is written both in Croatian and Hungarian.
