PRISTINA, Sept 29 (Hina) - The U.N. Mission's civil administrator for Kosovo, Bernard Kouchner, on Tuesday condemned a bomb attack which occurred yesterday at a market in a Kosovo Polje suburb, six kilometres west of the province's
capital of Pristina, which killed two Serbs and wounded at least 35 people. Kouchner said this act of violence directed against innocent civilians jeopardised all efforts aimed at establishing democracy in Kosovo and called on citizens to remain calm and refrain from violence. The U.N. Civil Mission's international police have arrested two Albanians on suspicion that they carried out the attack and interrogated another two persons, whose nationality is not known.(hina) rml
