INTERNATIONAL REPRESENTATIVES ON EXPLOSION IN MOSTAR

MOSTAR MOSTAR, Sept 28 (Hina) - Regional offices of the High Representative, the United Nations, and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, on Tuesday evening expressed concern about today's explosion, that took place in the southern Bosnia-Herzgovina town of Mostar, in which a Stabilisation Force officer and a local policeman suffered minor injuries. The two officers were securing the visit of Bosniaks to Mostar's district of Ilici. We condemn such disorders aimed at discouraging the return of pre-war population to their homes, read a statement issued by the three offices. The three international institutions stressed that any act of similar nature was impermissible, adding they would continue to invest their best efforts in assisting a safe and peaceful return. All three offices agreed with today's statement by Mostar mayor Ivan Prskalo which read that the attack was against all Mostar citizens.
