The first exhibition, ceremonially opened by Croatian Culture
Minister Bozo Biskupic, is taking place in the Diocletian Palace.
It includes about 30 billboards with photographs and articles on
the architecture in Dalmatia. A large part of it has been dedicated
to the famous Diocletian Palace and the Roman Catholic Church of St.
Dujam.
The other exhibition shows photographs taken by the youth of
Europe.
There are about 120 photos from 15 countries, including works of six
Croatian teenagers. This show is simultaneously being hosted by
homelands of all those authors.
The Days of European Heritage are being held in about 50 European
countries, and they officially commenced in Romania on September
11. Next year they will be concluded by a ministerial conference in
Slovenia.
Croatia has joined one-year-long programmes and there will be 12
exhibitions in 12 towns with the central show in Zagreb.
