ZAGREB, Sept 22 (Hina) - Following a one-hour debate about nine items on the agenda, the Croatian National Sabor's House of Representatives ended the first day of the 42nd session on Wednesday. Although another ten items were to be
discussed today, the session ended shortly after noon. Jadranka Kosor, who chaired the session, said conditions for further work of the session did not exist and announced the session would continue tomorrow. The MPs today discussed a bill by the Croatian Party of Rights (HSP) on establishing a Croatian memorial centre. The basic purpose of the centre, according to HSP's Boris Kandare, would be to keep the memory of all victims of Serbian aggression and spread the truth about the suffering of Croats throughout the past. The Lower House is tomorrow expected to debate the bills on
elections and electoral units, which were suggested by the Croatian
Democratic Union (HDZ) parliamentary bench.
