NEW YORK NEW YORK, Sept 20 (Hina) - A Croatian delegation, headed by Foreign Minister Mate Granic, on Sunday evening arrived in New York to participate in a session of the United Nations General Assembly. The session's agenda contains
166 item, including a discussion on mines and mine removal, and the situation in Bosnia-Herzegovina. Croatia is included in two items - a discussion on a resolution on human rights situations in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, and the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, as well as a report on the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia's activities. This is the first time that Croatia attends the UN General Assembly as one of the countries that participated in UN peace operations. Along with Hungary and Latvia, Croatia is a candidate for the United Nations Economic and Social Council.
