ZAGREB, Sept 3 (Hina) - Croatian Deputy Finance Minister Mijo Jukic on Friday held talks in Zagreb with Ireland's Minister of Trade, Industry, and Employment, Tom Kitt. Jukic acquainted his guest with the current economic, social, and
political situation in Croatia, especially the financial and macroeconomic situation. Jukic pointed to Croatia's interest in further cooperation with Ireland, to which he believes the signing of an agreement on the avoidance of double taxation and one on the stimulation and protection of investments would contribute significantly. Minister Kitt said Ireland's experience in overcoming economic difficulties could help Croatia in its further development.
