veterans on Thursday remembered the tragic September 16, 1991, when rebel Serbs and the Yugoslav People's Army (JNA) burnt and demolished the town, killed civilians, and massacred the Croatian Homeland War Soldiers. A commemoration ceremony was held at a mass grave where the bodies of 17 Croatian soldiers, killed on this day eight years ago, were discovered.
