DRENICA, Sept 11 (Hina) - Eighty three civilian victims of the Serb offensive against Kosovo Albanians, killed this spring, were buried in the villages of Lokoshane and Qirez on Saturday.Their funerals were attended by several
thousand citizens. Of 83 buried victims, eight were children under 16, and fifteen were women. Farewell speeches were held by representatives of the UN Civilian Mission in Kosovo, local authorities and the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA). On Friday, a few funerals were held in the area of Suva Reka when 28 victims of the Serb offensive were buried. Those people were killed this May in front of a primary school, and their mass grave was unearthed at the beginning of this week.
