ZAGREB, Sept 15 (Hina) - The head of the Croatian Mine Removal Centre (HRC), Damir Gorseta, received officials of the United Nations Office for Projects Services (UNOPS) in Zagreb on Wednesday. Gorseta told the UN officials that mines
were planted across 6,000 square kilometres of the Croatian territory, with about one million mines, out of which 20 to 25 percent are anti-tank mines. Mine fields are located in 14 of the 21 Croatian counties, particularly in Osijek-Baranja County, Vukovar-Srijem County, Sisak-Moslavina County, Karlovac County, and Zadar County, Gorseta told the UN officials.
