ZAGREB, Sept 15 (Hina) - Bosnia-Herzegovina's Chamber of Commerce

commerce of the Bosnian two entities (the Croat-Moslem Federation
and the Republic of Srpska) are together participating in the
event, said the Bosnian Ambassador to Croatia, Hasan Muratovic, at
Wednesday's news conference at the Zagreb Fair (ZV).
Muratovic told reporters that negotiations with the ZV were being
under way on a possibility that Bosnia-Herzegovina be a partner-
country at the next year's autumn fair. This would contribute to
strengthening ties between the two neighbouring countries and
serve as an occasion for promoting the Bosnian economy.
The head of the Bosnian Chamber of Commerce, Mensur Smajlovic,
pointed to the necessity to further the economic cooperation
between the two countries, particularly in the sectors of tourism
and traffic.
The economic cooperation between Croatia and Bosnia has achieved
significant results in recent years. At the moment, Croatia is the
first partner of Bosnia in trade. Last year Croatia's exports to
that country amounted to 600 million US dollars, whereas imports
from Bosnia totalled 150 million.
The head of the Bosnian Serb entity's chamber of commerce,
Nedjeljko Suzic, expressed interest in renewing business
relations.
Bosnia's companies are displaying their products at 385 square
metres of exhibition space.
