MOSTAR/RAMA, Sept 14 (Hina) - Six years ago to the day, Bosniaks (Moslems), members of the Army of Bosnia-Herzegovina, killed Croat civilians and members of the Croatian Defence Council (HVO) in Uzdol, a village some sixty kilometres
north of Mostar (southern Bosnia-Herzegovina). In memory of this tragedy, Sarajevo Archbishop Cardinal Vinko Puljic served mass. Present was Croatian President's envoy Slobodan Lang. Puljic called on people to be forgiving and to stop hatred, stressing life must be brought back to Uzdol. Bosniak troops killed 29 civilians and 12 HVO members. The youngest victim was five-year old Stjepan Zoric and the eldest 87-year old Luca Zelenika. Slobodan Lang addressed the gathered, stressing the perpetrators of all crimes in Bosnia-Herzegovina must be punished, notwithstanding who committed them.(hina) lml jn
