CELIJE, Sept 7 (Hina) - A plaque was unveiled in the eastern Croatian village of Celije on Tuesday in memory of 32 soldiers and civilians killed in the Serbian aggression on Croatia earlier this decade. Celije was the first village in
Vukovar-Srijem County the Serbian aggressor razed to the ground. The memorial plaque was unveiled by representatives of the Association of Victims of Celije; wreaths were laid by numerous delegations, and homage was paid by an envoy of the Croatian President, Mirko Norac. The vice president of the Croatian parliament, Jadranka Kosor, said Celije was the eighth place in Croatia where mass suffering was being marked.(hina) ha jn
