The hearing was called in connection with an indictment by The
Hague-based International Criminal Tribunal for former Yugoslavia
(ICTY) and an arrest and extradition warrant against Naletilic.
The ICTY charges Naletilic with crimes against humanity, severe
violations of the Geneva Conventions and the laws or customs of
war.
Along with Naletilic and his attorney, medical expert Davor
Strinovic will also attend the hearing.
Croatia recently handed over to the Tribunal Vinko Martinovic Stela
under the same indictment. The Zagreb County Court on June 8
separated proceedings against Martinovic from those against
Naletilic due to Naletilic's poor health.
