ZAGREB, Aug 24 (Hina) - The average salary for employees in June in Croatia maintained the same nominal value as for May while the real salary experienced an increase of 0.7% and amounted to US$407 per month. The State Payment
Transactions Agency (ZAP) noted that the number of employees had decreased since June last year and that the average salary this June was higher than salaries in June last year with a real increase of 12.9%. ZAP sources reported that there was a continuing trend for variability in the rate of salary increases depending on the field of employment. The differences noted ranged from 26.4% in education to 6.4% in financial mediation.(hina) sp
