ZAGREB, Aug 2 (Hina) - Employees with the furniture factory "Savric" should receive gross salaries of 1,500 kuna per worker for each May and June by August 10, while salaries for July should be given by September 10, a leader of the
Association of Croatian Independent Trade Unions (SSSH), Mario Ivekovic, told several hundred workers who gathered in the courtyard of the Savric plant in Jukiceva Street in Zagreb on Monday morning. These deadlines are the result of this morning's meeting held in the commercial court by the Savric bankruptcy commissioner Marinko Pajic, the Savric management, representatives of the Economy Ministry and the Zagrebacka bank, which holds over 30 percent of Savric shares. According to Ivekovic, the factory filed for the bankruptcy on 30 July 30, and the notice period should commence on August 16.
