ZAGREB, Aug 20 (Hina) - Yugoslavia has requested Croatia's approval for its new ambassador to Croatia however, this will not be Zoran Knezevic as has recently been speculated in Croatia's media, the Foreign Ministry reported Friday.
"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs on August 3 received an official request from the Yugoslav Foreign Ministry for an 'agremena' to be issued for the new Yugoslav ambassador to Croatia. The official request does not refer to Zoran Knezevic, the statement read. The Foreign Ministry advised that in keeping with diplomatic procedure the identity of the candidate cannot be revealed until the procedure is finalised.
