SARAJEVO, July 28 (Hina) - An agreement on borders between Croatia
and Bosnia-Herzegovina was definitely achieved on Tuesday evening,
but, due to lack of time need for the technical preparation of its
signing, it is not certain that the agreement will be signed during
the Stability Pact Summit in Sarajevo on July 30, Croatian
Ambassador to Bosnia-Herzegovina Damir Zoric told Hina on
Wednesday.
Zoric, however, stressed that everything would be done for the
agreement to be signed by Friday, July 30.
The agreement was to be signed ahead of the beginning of the Summit,
most probably on Wednesday and the latest on Thursday, however,
things became complicated in the meantime, the ambassador added.
It is not a secret that Bosnian Serbs hesitated to reach the
agreement and had many objection up to the last moment, Zoric
added.
"It is the most important that the agreement was achieved last night
after all, but it is a fact that very little time is left for the
technical part of the signing", Zoric said.
The agreement is to be signed by President Franjo Tudjman on
Croatia's behalf and the three members of the BH Presidency on
behalf of Bosnia-Herzegovina.
"The agreement refers to the entire Bosnia-Herzegovina and all its
citizens so it is logical that it (the agreement) be signed by all
three" political heads, Zoric concluded.
