OSIJEK MEDICAL FACULTY OSIJEK, Aug 4 (Hina) - A DNA laboratory for the identification of war victims, into which the state invested about DM256,000, was opened at the Osijek Medical Faculty on Wednesday. The opening ceremony, held on
the occasion of Homeland Gratitude Day, was attended by President Tudjman's Chief-of-Staff Ivica Kostovic, government ministers Milena Zic-Fuchs and Juraj Njavro, representatives from the Government Commission for Missing and Detained Persons and the association of families of missing and detained soldiers "Croatian Phoenix". A Commission member Davor Strinovic said that 2,690 persons had been exhumed to date from mass and individual graves in Croatia.
