ZAGREB, Aug 3 (Hina) - The Croatian National Bank (HNB) foreign exchange reserves at the end of June reached US$2.6 billion, after registering increases in May and June, the HNB reported. The increase was realised mostly through
foreign exchange transactions with the state. In early May the bank purchased from the state 149.7 million euros, and during June another 99.8 million euros, the HNB said in its July bulletin. According to preliminary data, currency reserves in commercial banks in late May amounted to US$1.48 billion.(hina) rml
