PLOCE PLOCE, Aug 1 (Hina) - A ship carrying 7,000 tonnes of alumina from Italy for the aluminium manufacturing plan in Mostar, Bosnia-Herzegovina, entered the Croatian southern port of Ploce on Sunday. In the last two years the Mostar
factory exported about 100,000 tonnes of anodes and about 50,000 tonnes of aluminium and alloys via the port of Ploce to European countries and overseas. The value of the exports was more than 200 million German marks. Under an agreement between the Mostar plant and the Ploce port, 230,000 tonnes of goods should be transported via this southern Croatian harbour for the needs of the Mostar factory. The port at the mouth of the River Neretva will thus become the biggest business partner of that Bosnian aluminium producing plant.(hina) ms
