LJUBLJANA, July 16 (Hina) - Slovene Economy Minister Tea Petrin and her Croatian counterpart Nenad Porges held a working meeting in Slovenia on Friday. The meeting is part of intensive negotiations aimed at preparing an agreement on
the nuclear power plant Krsko by next week, when a meeting between Slovene and Croatian Premiers, Janez Drnovsek and Zlatko Matesa respectively, will take place, the Slovene Economy Ministry reported today. The Krsko nuclear power plant was built jointly by Croatia and Slovenia on Slovenia's territory about 20 years ago. After they gained independence, the two countries failed to transform the then valid agreement on the use of Krsko into an international agreement, which was the cause of the dispute on whether Croatia is a co-owner or only an investor into the plant.(hina) rml
