ZAGREB, July 29 (Hina) - Croatia's Minister of Maritime Affairs, Transport and Communications, Zeljko Luzavec, on Thursday said he had not resigned from his office and did not feel responsible for the traffic collapse in the ferry
service toward the island of Pag, which occurred last weekend. "I don't feel responsible because I don't know what more I could do. However, it is a fact that I am the Minister of Transport and that there was a major delay in traffic. That is a fact I have to accept", Luzavec told reporters after today's government session, which was held behind closed doors. Asked whether he would remain in office, Luzavec said he probably would. Asked to comment on accusations by the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) spokesman Ivica Ropus and requests that he be replaced, Luzavec said he had not heard about them.
