ZAGREB, July 22 (Hina) - Croatia's Economic and Social Council (GSV) on Thursday accepted a report, drawn up by the Government on the economic and social situation in the country, as the basis for identifying the economic and social
state of affairs. A statement, which was released after the GSV closed session and signed by the GSV President, Social Welfare Minister Joso Skara, did not mention details from the Government's report. Social partners of this tripartite body should give their written proposals for solving problems in this field, at the forthcoming session, scheduled for the end of August. Representatives of the Government, trade unions, and employers, who make up the GSV, agreed on recommending to county prefects that similar tripartite bodies be set up in counties.(hina) ms
