ZAGREB, July 29 (Hina) - The Glina river burst its banks after heavy rain fell on Sisak-Moslavina County on Wednesday night and Thursday morning. The state road "Karlovac-Glina-Dvor" has been closed in the village of Maja (about 50
kilometres south of Zagreb) due to the flooded roadway. The Sisak-Glina road has been closed at the site of Marin Brod. A few local roads have been flooded as well, and drivers are facing huge problems in the area of Glina. From 02.00 to 07.00 am Thursday 125 litres of rain poured per square metre in the town of Petrinja where many households are flooded now. Rains and floods have been impeding the traffic in the area, according to Croatia's Information Centre.(hina) ms
