Clinton expressed hope that BH and its neighbours would draw a plan of cooperation which would contribute to the realisation of this goal. President Clinton also called on Jelavic to initiate the infrastructure issue, as well as issues of long-term development and stability, and market reforms and regional security. President Clinton once again pointed to the significance of the fact that Yugoslav President Slobodan Milosevic had not been invited to participate in the summit, and added that Serbia would be able to integrate into the international community only when the current president is no longer in power.
