ZAGREB, July 8 (Hina) - Croatian parliament vice president Vladimir Seks on Thursday suggested Premier Zlatko Matesa should initiate proceedings to establish circumstances of the disclosing of confidential notes of last October 30,
which "Nacional" weekly published in its latest issue. In a letter to the Premier, Seks says, "In its issue of July 7, 1999, 'Nacional' weekly published notes from the 32nd session of the Council for Cooperation With the International Criminal Tribunal, held on October 30, 1998." Seks said in the letter that according to the agenda, the session was to define Croatia's views regarding attorney Rifkin's proposal for a strategy on the stand to be taken before the International Criminal Tribunal regarding "Storm", the 1995 military operation which liberated Croatian territory occupied by the Serbian aggressor. proceedings to establish circumstances of the disclosing of
confidential notes of last October 30, which "Nacional" weekly
published in its latest issue.
In a letter to the Premier, Seks says, "In its issue of July 7, 1999,
'Nacional' weekly published notes from the 32nd session of the
Council for Cooperation With the International Criminal Tribunal,
held on October 30, 1998."
Seks said in the letter that according to the agenda, the session
was to define Croatia's views regarding attorney Rifkin's proposal
for a strategy on the stand to be taken before the International
Criminal Tribunal regarding "Storm", the 1995 military operation

The notes published in "Nacional" do not bear the confidential
seal, but Seks pointed out in the letter the government office for
cooperation with the war crimes tribunal had marked the document as
confidential. He added the government was obligated to launch an
investigation.
