THE HAGUE, July 28 (Hina) - The International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia's prosecution on Wednesday demanded that Tihomir Blaskic be sentenced for life for the crimes committed in the Croat-Moslem war in the Lasvanska
Valley in 1993. Blaskic left behind death and destruction, and all was done to achieve a Bosnian Croats political, namely a one-nation country. The price was too high, the United States prosecutor Gregory Kehoe said before the ICTY in his closing speech. Quoting French philosopher Voltaire, Kehoe said that we owe the truth to the dead, and demanded a life in prison for General Blaskic. Blaskic's attorneys will give their closing speech this afternoon.(hina) it
