DUBROVNIK, July 26 (Hina) - The Association for the Protection of Property Rights on Monday held a press conference at which, the Association president, Ivo Braticevic, informed reporters of a letter forwarded by the Association to
the Croatian Ambassador to the United Nations, Ivan Simonovic. It was stressed in the letter that the Croatian southern-most peninsula of Ostro was not a territorial but a political issue, solved by a Badinter Commission back in 1991. European powers, however, did not accept that due to their geopolitical interests. Braticevic also presented the reporters with Simonovic's response. The Croatian Ambassador to the United Nations said that the new resolution of the Security Council on Prevlaka, also included a decision by the UN Secretariat is invited to supported greater freedom of movement of civilians in Prevlaka.(hina) it
