ZAGREB, July 14 (Hina) - Croatia and Slovenia on Wednesday signed a protocol with 28 new scientific projects for the period between July 1, 1999 and June 30, 2001. The protocol, signed at the third session of a joint commission for
scientific and technological cooperation, was signed in Zagreb by an assistant to Croatia's Science Minister, Radovan Fuchs, and the main under-secretary at the Slovene Science and Technology Ministry, Peter Volasko. The commission also approved further financial assistance for 12 projects, which had been approved at the commission's first session in 1997. The Croatian-Slovene commission for cooperation in science and technology was established in line with an agreement on scientific cooperation, signed by Croatia and Slovenia on July 8, 1994.
