ISTANBUL, July 13 (Hina) - A delegation of the Croatian Chamber of Commerce (HGK), headed by president Nadan Vidosevic, on Tuesday completed a three-day visit to Istanbul. The delegation, which included several Croatian companies'
representatives, visited Turkey at the invitation of the president of the Turkish Association of Chambers of Commerce, Fuat Miras. According to a statement from the HGK, talks held during the visit focused on improving economic cooperation between Croatia and Turkey. Representatives of Turkish companies expressed interest in investing in tourist accommodation, as well as in joint presentations on other markets. completed a three-day visit to Istanbul.
The delegation, which included several Croatian companies'
representatives, visited Turkey at the invitation of the president
of the Turkish Association of Chambers of Commerce, Fuat Miras.
According to a statement from the HGK, talks held during the visit
focused on improving economic cooperation between Croatia and
Turkey. Representatives of Turkish companies expressed interest in
investing in tourist accommodation, as well as in joint
presentations on other markets.
The Croatian delegation visited Arceli, Europe's biggest washing
machine factory, ENKA Holding, the contractor on the Zagreb-
Dubrovnik highway, and Alarko Holding.
The statement pointed out the presentations Croatian and Turkish
businessmen are to make at fairs in Izmir in August and Zagreb in
September will be a good opportunity to concretise relations.
Turkey's EXIM bank will to that end grant loans worth US$100
million.
The Croatian-Turkish Business Council is planned to hold a meeting
during the Zagreb fair, at which Turkey will be Croatia's partner
country. The council is expected to discuss further possibilities
of developing economic relations.
