ZAGREB, July 9 (Hina) - Croatian telecommunications company Ericsson Nikola Tesla and EXi, the Manchester-based international company for telecommunications services, on Friday signed an agreement on forming a joint company for
setting up telecommunications equipment in East Europe. The agreement was signed by Ericsson Nikola Tesla president Ake Enell and EXi managing director Berwyn Roberts. According to reports from Tesla, the new company will be based in Zagreb and will initially employ 120 workers who have so far mainly worked in Tesla. When it began its activities in 1995, EXi had 60 employees; currently there are 650. The company's offices are based in Great Britain, The Netherlands, Germany, Malaysia, and now in Croatia.
