ZAGREB, June 16 (Hina) - Croatian Chamber of Commerce (HGK) president Nadan Vidosevic and Iranian Ambassador to Croatia Keyvan Imani on Wednesday discussed possibilities of cooperation in the shipbuilding and petrochemical industries
and the necessity of signing a cooperation agreement between the HGK and Iran's Chamber of Commerce. Trade between the two countries in 1998 amounted to US$23.3 million, of which Croatia's export accounted for US$5.6 million and import for US$17.6 million. According to a HGK statement, talks also discussed the interest of Iranian companies in participating at an autumn trade fair in Zagreb.
