MONTENEGRIN PRESIDENT RECEIVES CROATIAN OUTGOING AMBASSADOR

PODGORICA, July 8 (Hina) - Montenegro's President Milo Djukanovic on Thursday received Croatia's Ambassador to Yugoslavia (Serbia/Montenegro), Zvonimir Markovic, at a farewell visit. During cordial talks Djukanovic and Markovic exchanged stands on the current situation in Montenegro and in the region. Both interlocutors showed a great level of agreement on all issues they discussed. They were also optimistic about the future of Montenegro and Croatia and said preconditions had been created for the sensible overcoming of burdens from the recent past. In such an atmosphere it will be easier to find a long-term solution to the issue of Prevlaka, read a statement released by Djukanovic's office. Montenegrin President also thanked to the Croatian Government for Croatia's understanding in a manner of a good neighbour in recent months while Markovic praised the state policy of Montenegro and Djukanovic for
