ZAGREB, July 8 (Hina) - At a session held on Thursday, the Croatian Government assessed business activities of insurance companies in 1998 as good. The Government will, however, motion amendments to the law on insurance, which would
oblige companies to invest more in bonds and less in real estate, and forbid them to grant loans to share holders. According to a report on business activities of insurance companies in 1998, 26 insurance companies are active in Croatia.
