OSIJEK, June 7 (Hina) - A delegation of the European Union's Humanitarian Office on Wednesday visited elementary schools in the eastern Croatian towns of Bilje and Beli Manastir, included in a school equipment donation project for 16
elementary schools and high schools in this part of the Croatian Danube River region. The donation amounted to about DM280,000. The EU's Humanitarian Office representative for Croatia, Richard Lewartowski, said this was a way of helping schools in the Croatian Danube River region which suffered the most damage.
