DUBROVNIK DUBROVNIK, July 3 (Hina) - The Governor of the Council of Europe's Fund for Social Development, Raphael Alomar, visited the southern Adriatic town of Dubrovnik on Saturday. Representatives of Dubrovnik-Neretva County
introduced a proposal of the social-development programme of Dubrovnik-Neretva County and the town of Dubrovnik. They pointed to the problems in completing the construction of the Dubrovnik general hospital and a senior citizen's home. They also pointed to the need for better care for handicapped children. Alomar said there was an interest for investing in this part of Croatia, the development of social and health programmes, as well as in the reconstruction of damaged monuments. During his stay in Dubrovnik, Alomar visited the historical centre of the town, and is scheduled to visit the Konale municipality.(hina) it
