SARAJEVO, July 1 (Hina) - The chairman of Bosnia's Presidency, Ante Jelavic, on Thursday held talks with the chief commander of NATO's Stabilisation Force in Bosnia-Herzegovina, American General Montgomery Meigs. Jelavic suggested an
initiative for building a new security structure in Bosnia, as well as in the wider region. He explained his suggestion with the situation which arose in the wake of the denouement of the Kosovo crisis and the establishment of a stability pact for south-eastern Europe. The two officials also talked about reducing the armed force and the military budget, the reorganisation of existing security services in Bosnia, and the establishment of a new one which would be under full parliamentary supervision.
