ZAGREB, July 1 (Hina) - The Croatian Foreign Ministry on Thursday issued a statement saying the government supports the motion to appoint Bodo Hombach coordinator of the Stability Pact for South-Eastern Europe. "The Government of the
Republic of Croatia gave its consent to the appointment of Mr Hombach as Pact coordinator from the moment the motion was made, on which subject it had been timely consulted, in line with the Pact." Hombach, head of the federal chancellor's office and minister for special tasks in the German government, was suggested as coordinator of the Stability Pact by Germany, the presiding country of the European Union. The motion was accepted by all EU member-countries at a Rio de Janeiro conference of the EU and Latin American countries.(hina) ha
