SOME IPTF TROOPS TO BE RELOCATED FROM BOSNIA TO KOSOVO

SARAJEVO, June 29 (Hina) - Forty-five International Police Task Force (IPTF) members from Bosnia-Herzegovina have been relocated to the southern Yugoslav province of Kosovo, in order to help in establishing order in the province, UN Mission spokeswoman Kelly Moore told reporters in Sarajevo on Tuesday. Moore said the countries whose police officers were participating in a programme of training of local police forces in Bosnia had announced that between 200 and 250 IPTF members would be relocated from Bosnia to Kosovo. Moore said it was still not clear when and how the lack of qualified personnel in the UN Mission in Bosnia would be covered but she expected it would have to be done considering the fact that the IPTF mandate had not been changed.
