"For us, a big and historical decision came into force then, that on Croatia's independent and sovereign path forward," Pavletic recalled. "For Croatia's recent history, it will be interesting to see how since its constitution people have performed in relation to (the above mentioned) documents, to evaluate the importance and merits of those who motioned and with their majority adopted them," he said. Pavletic also recalled the text of the constitutional decision on Croatia's independence and sovereignty, which proclaimed Croatia an independent and sovereign state, initiated its separation from the former Yugoslav federation and its international recognition, established that Croatia's state borders were internationally recognised in the territory Croatia had in the former Yugoslav federation, and which stated that Croatia guaranteed national and all other rights to all of its citizens.
