STRASBOURG STRASBOURG, June 21 (Hina) - Two Croatian exhibitions were staged in the hall of the Committee of Ministers at the Palace of Europe in Strasbourg on Monday ahead of a Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly sitting. The
"Ex Libris" international graphics exhibition of the Rijeka University Library was this year dedicated to the Council of Europe's 50th anniversary. First staged in the northern Croatian port of Rijeka, it featured 268 graphics artists from 44 countries. The second exhibition, also dedicated to the Council's 50th anniversary, was an exhibition of caricature art, organised as a competition by the Association of Croatian Caricaturists. Present at the Strasbourg display were numerous parliamentarians from all Council of Europe member-countries, the highest ranking officials at the Council's Secretariat, and permanent ambassadors.(hina) ha
