LONDON/ZAGREB, June 22 (Hina) - Croatian Tourism Minister Ivan Herak, who is on a visit to Great Britain, on Tuesday met Lindsay Forbes, director of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development for south-east Europe. The
meeting, also attended by EBRD's deputy director for south-east Europe Juliane Sjoborg and Croatia's Ambassador Andrija Kojakovic, also discussed future cooperation between Croatia and the EBRD in the restructuring and privatisation of Croatia's tourism sector, the head of Herak's cabinet, Robert Pende, told Hina. The EBRD is closely monitoring the development of tourism in Croatia and it supports the idea of institutional supervision and management of the state-owned tourist portfolio, it was said during the talks. Minister Herak will on Wednesday hold a news conference and meet
Britain's leading tour-operators who have included Croatia into

Over the past month, Herak visited Croatia's most important tourist
markets - Germany, Italy, Austria, Slovenia, Hungary, the Czech
Republic, Slovakia, the Netherlands, and Great Britain.
