ZAGREB, June 20 (Hina) - Stribor Kikerec, an assistant of Tomislav Druzak, the head of the Croatian Intelligence Service (HIS), confirmed to the daily 'Vecernji List' the information that he had resigned from the post, after speculation over his resignation appeared in the media, the 20 June issue of this Croatian daily read. "I can confirm the information about my resignation, but I cannot comment on the matter," Kikerec, who was at his office on Friday, told Vecernji List on Saturday. "The rules of the HIS do not allow a former assistant to speak publicly, and that's why Kikerec neither confirmed nor denied an allegation that he has offered his resignation due to the case of a former head of the HIS, Miroslav Separovic," the daily added.
