DUBROVNIK DUBROVNIK, June 19 (Hina) - A meeting of secretaries of Catholic Bishops' Conferences in Europe (CCEE) began in the Croatian resort of Dubrovnik on Saturday. According to a statement issued by the office of Dubrovnik Bishop,
secretaries-general of bishops' conferences from 34 European countries and seven bishops are taking part in the event. They will dedicate much attention to ecumenism which has received new incentives since the historic visit of Pope John Paul II to Romania as well as to dialogue with Islam and other religions, important for a lasting peace and coexistence of peoples in Europe. One of topics will be a role of the Church in the process of establishing peace in Kosovo and aid for refugees. The meeting will last by Wednesday, June 23.(hina) ms
