TRAVNIK, June 16 (Hina) - The exhumation of the remains of Bosnian Croats murdered in 1993 started in the central Bosnian town of Travnik on Wednesday. The exhumation was launched by the Commission for Missing Persons of the
Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina. The remains of a 73-year-old mentally retarded person were exhumed in the Travnik municipality's village of Podovi. The body of a 36-year-old person, who was, according to statements of witnesses, ritually slaughtered by members of the El Mujahedeen unit, consisting mostly of foreign citizens fighting in the Bosnian Army, has not been found in the Travnik municipality's village of Orasac, where it had initially been buried. A Croat official in the Commission, Jerko Radic, said he believed the remains of the 36-year-old had been secretly exhumed and buried somewhere else.
